man i’m so stoned. i went to go search for “funny pictures” in google images and i sat there for like 25 seconds because i didn’t realize the screen switched to google so fast. its like it loads in the blink of an eye!

@vipguddu123 no if you have people trained employees to come up with mundane tasks and you have the money like google does its hardly work at all. work is pouring, troweling, and sweeping cement for 55 hours a week. laying rebar in a base baord and pouring cement around it to build a foundation so they can have their facility and sit around all day!

This is not news. Google told me they would do everything you said BEFORE I started using their products… They spelled it ALL out in black and white. I still chose to use their products. Everyone that uses anything goggle is choosing it, knowing that google does what they do.
The US Government does NOT give me a choice. They will listen in to my phone calls, read my emails, come into my home and search it, without my knowledge or consent, whenever they want, whether I use google or bing.

When people say, if you have nothing to hide you wouldn’t care, it really makes me laugh. I’m a law abiding citizen. I have never been in trouble nor do I foresee ever getting in trouble. But that doesn’t mean I’d like to be tracked and advertised to by major corporations. We are subjected to NUMEROUS ads every day as it is. Just bc I get to here things I want to here about doesn’t mean I’ll here about the other crap any less.

I’m not being paranoid. Lol I’m simply attempting to point out, for those that don’t realize, data is being collected by google simply to tailor marketing campaigns to you. Businesses can and already do market directly to you and with advancement of technology, it’s very reasonable to say with GPS in our phone (for example) that you will here ads (from pandora, Hulu, etc) as you are driving by a McDonalds, NikeTown, whatever youd be interested in.

What’s the problem with Google collecting personal data? If you’re a law abiding citizen, surely you have nothing to worry about? If you do have a problem with Google collecting your data, don’t use them. Buy your own domain & pop3 mail account, use a Windows or iPhone, use Bing or Yahoo etc etc bla bla bla.
I couldn’t give a damn about Google and what they do with my data. If it provides me and everyone else with a better service then that’s fine. Maybe we’re being a little too paranoid. :-/

No, Idiot…Facebook is not worse than google. You post whatever you want on Facebook, google automatically archives all your emails including deleted emails and even archives whatever you search on google.com even if you delete your browsing history & cookies…it’s all web based. Think about all the products, information, jokes, pictures you search everyday.
